  • 2 Cans of Kidney Beans 16oz each(I get one light red and one dark red)
  • 8oz. Tomato Sauce
  • 2 tbsp.. Chili Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Oregano
  • 1 tsp. Garlic Salt
  • 1cup Publix Mexican cheese blend
  • FRITOS!

Start by browning ground beef. As browning dice up small onion. Empty grease and add onion to ground beef mixture to cook, about 5 minutes. Add 2 tbsp. chili powder, 1/2 tsp. oregano, 1 tsp. garlic salt and stir. Add 1/4 cup of water and the 8oz. tomato sauce. Add beans and stir. From here we start to layer the Frito chili casserole Once combined well add 1/2 to greased casserole dish. Top with Mexican cheese – approx. 1/3 cup. Add Fritos, then layer with rest of beef/bean mixture. Add rest of cheese and top with more Fritos!

Bake at 350 for 40 minutes, let stand for 5 minutes then serve!
